market price is where supply and demand meets. exceeding market price usually triggers a rollback. the challenge for transfer check admins is that market prices are dynamic and have cycles of ups and downs. many users overestimate their personal price opinion and underestimate the amount of expensive transfers not being rollbacked. in a manager game you would expect to be able to make bad and good deals.

Alright alright so if you want to go the "market price" way.
I'm a new manager here. For all of us there's a physical rule stating that if you're in negative assets for 5 weeks, you lose your team.
I'm 4 weeks in negative assets. Next week and i'm out. But wait, I'm a member of a good old friends community.
I can sell my pos2 to my community friend for "market price" + some, to make sure he has it (still market price. Don't say you make the difference between 700 and 750k). I get back on positive now that I sold him right ? Sure. Now I can buy it back from my friend cause you know, he made a bad decision and now regret buying this player.
Is that ok ? I mean sure that's indeed right ?

Your example here is not of banking, but money transfer. If you sell a player “above market price” and that is clear, it’s TL cheating. Selling a 1-2K player for 30K to a friend in order to save your a$$ from bankroupcy is not legal. Bankig is only allowed, when no manager gains an advantage over other managers. In this case, a ragesell of a good manager that got saved by his community. It is “unfair” for him to not have to pay for his mistakes, as you pay for yours, but in his case, it is not about gaining money. Selling a player today and buying back 2 days later is not actually helping him financially.

When a player worth 100K max gets sold for 200K+, now that’s a TL offense and it should be punished. And in most cases, it is punished.
We all know how shady banking is, but the case you’re talking about is similar to many other banking cases.

New example of banking and why it’s ok to not have banking illegal.

Seller 1 asks 200K for Player1. Buyer 1 wants the player and only has 190K. That’s when friend comes in, and buys the player, that is later sold for the same ammount later, when Buyer one has the money.
If Buyer 1 buys the player for the same ammount, it is not illegal.

You have no morale to justify this absurd "double transfer", let's look elsewhere for motivation because reading your defense makes it look ridiculous.
    Good game 😉

Since when you have to justify playing after the rules? Very nice for 3rd party manager osis that hu7k changed his mind and allowed osis to buy this most wanted leader.

    update:
now icbus has the leading bid on the ecs44. more likely zoif won't overbid again like on the other player. all hypothetical whine for nothing now?

if you are 4 weeks in minus and need this kind of transfers to survive, I would suggest resetting the acc and getting a mentor instead of risk opening a transfer abuse case by exceeding a potential market price enough to coincidentally cover minus assets. finances of seller and bidder can be checked too by admins.

I wonder how many reports will osis and Icbus get for their bids :-s

  • #10 2021-03-11 12:26

Looks like the selling price was more than a fair, as there is so much interest on them. Too bad osis and icbus missed their first deadlines!

Considering the admin tag you carry, you are totally out of order sir.
You should resign immediately if you are incapable of putting your allegeances aside and understand why there is so much scrutiny on this situation.

My allegiance has nothing to do with the fact that there were no rules broken in these situations, so i have no idea what you're actually talking about.

My point was that while zoif had the last bid, everybody was so upset. Now, when both players got overbids, everything is ok and everyone is happy. So, i'm guessing some thought that the prices were too low, maybe.

Once again: banking is not illegal and there's nothing to do about it.

Or maybe people would be happier still if this bullshit got shut down in the first instance and it didn't require street justice overbids to teach people a lesson, Partisanadmin#350.

hard to shut something down when fair prices got paid and 0 rules were broken.

It may be legal but it's a bit shitty to be honest. If you rage quit and sell your guys for 1csm it should be on you, not on your team mates to bail you out by giving you your money back.
