even exploiting the unique opportunity of buying back former players to trick calculations. maybe man city should hire him to optimize their financial fairplay.

I know it's possible. Try looking up s108. But if you don't agree 2.000.000 helps I won't argue with ya

In my opinion it's about winning trophies (and having fun). Team building and tactics are just means to an end . In the end there's plenty ways to manage your team and play the game.

the critical mass to get things done is much lower than you would assume. a well spent 2kk team like lilith's isn't much more expensive on seasonal costs base than the team you had when winning godlike wwt gold.

or buy a 140k team which is worth 5 csm one season later, or a 280k team with 0 worth 2 seasons later. etc endless possibilities to scale seasonal costs.

not you but it would the example of scaling down some of the latest int. trophy winning teams to be very affordable when bought as oldies while keeping the same seasonal costs.

the team you had when winning godlike wwt gold had a price tag of 210k. since the playerid's + some buy age datas + limits are gone one has to estimate the seasonal costs by considering the date differences and real purchase + sell prices. resulting in around 120k seasonal costs. not far behind some of today's trophy contenders.
the same team bought for 210k was only worth 11.69k csm when sold after wwt.

When comparing seasonal cost like this I think you should factor in the up-front fee as well. Only a very few managers can ever afford to spend 2 million on a team :-)

another example of achieving top spot performances with similar seasonal costs while paying less than 1kk would be winsku's 718k team in S119. alltogether when only having 600ish amount of csm days. 718k sounds very affordable.
